At only five feet and three inches and weighing in at around one hundred and five pounds, Brianna looks like a small and frail girl who would probably break under any decent amount of physical pressure. She has a slightly awkward appearance of only being slightly filled out in her hips and chest. Blonde hair falls just past her shoulders in natural waves that sometimes don’t even show up while light blue-green eyes settle on a face that appears to have a child-like innocence, despite her mischievous ways. There’s really nothing that stands out about Brianna; she’s a rather normal looking teenage girl really if you can get past the odd pale coloring of her skin tone.
There aren’t too many scars that cover her body, but she does have one set. On the back of her left thigh are bite marks from when she got attacked by a German Shepard when she was twelve.
PERSONALITY | PRANKSTER: there’s no denying the fact that Brianna loves her practical jokes and her pranks; they’re practically a part of her life by this point and if anything it’s how she copes. For the most part you can view her pranks and jokes at face value; they’re a way to make herself and the people around her laugh and you’ll never see her do anything exceptionally harmful toward her targets. However, her pranks can be analyzed quite a bit; Brianna uses them as a way to keep people at a distant. She figures that as long as she can keep people seeing what she wants them to see, then her secret is going to be safe and the hurt she feels from being lied too.
FRIENDLY: yes, she likes to pull pranks and keep people at arm’s length, but that doesn’t make her cold or even distant in any way. She’s rather outgoing and can talk to almost anyone of any age, having the capability of making friends from just about any age group and clique ( assuming you can handle her jokes ). Brianna rarely has a cruel word to say about anyone and wholeheartedly believes in “treat others how you want to be treated” …it’s for that reason that you’ll find her ignoring rumors that she hears about people.
EASILY AMUSED: part of what makes Brianna such an easy going prankster and easygoing person is that she finds some of the silliest things rather hilarious. It isn’t hard to make Brianna laugh; simply jokes can make her smile and she’ll take any attempt at face value, accepting it for what it is, and loving every moment of it. Some of the stupidest thing are what she finds to be absolutely amazing and hilarious, even when they leave other people going “what…?”
NAÏVE: this word pretty much describes Brianna better than any other word out there. She’s not so naïve to let dirty jokes slip past her ( though the occasional one does go right over her head ), but the main thing she seems to miss out on is flirting. Sure, she’s had a crush here or there, but she’s never quite understood what it was and never acted on it; she’s completely unaware of whatever sex appeal she may have, thinks she’s a rather plain looking female, and doesn’t think that anyone looks at her like anything more than a sixteen year old prankster who has problems acting her own age.
TEMPER: Brianna has a hidden temper; her easygoing personality makes it a bit difficult to really get her angry. Sure, she’s capable of a harsh word here or there if she’s slightly upset, but to truly see her angry takes quite a bit of button pushing…or rather button mashing. However, once angered, Brianna is like the Hulk…minus the large green bit and the mass of physical strength…so she’s really not like the Hulk. She does, however, have a tongue as sharp as barbed wire and her voice can reach volume levels of epic proportions. Brianna calms down rather slowly, however once calm, she’s not above apologizing if it’s needed nor will she hold a grudge…unless given a reason.
HISTORY | San Francisco, California in 1996, Brianna was born in a hospital to a girl that was just barely turning seventeen at the time and instead of taking the care of her or putting her up for adoption, the young woman took the child to a church when she was only a few months old and simply left her behind. Brianna’s tale makes her own of the few lucky ones; she was only in the system for less than a year when she was adopted by a family who had been trying for a second child but had been unsuccessful. They remained in San Francisco for only a couple years before moving to Preston, Oklahoma, closer to home for both parents.
Samuel O’Shea was a bank manager, giving the family a wealth that made them comfortable, though not necessarily rich while her mother was an elementary school teacher. Life was relatively normal for the family and for the longest time, Brianna never noticed that there was anything different compared to her and her family; they were all dark haired and dark eyed while she was blonde, but it all seemed normal to her. When she was seven years old her parents noticed that she was a little more…excitable than other children; she couldn’t seem to hold her attention span for long, she was hyperactive, and acted out rather impulsively.
It wasn’t until she was nine that she was diagnosed with ADHD, and while the doctor’s offered to give her medication for it, her parents thought she was too young and feared risking it. School for Brianna was always an interesting thing; she wasn’t horrible in it, but she had the ability to be better “if she only applied herself” as her teachers constantly said. But applying herself was quite difficult for the young child. It wasn’t until she was twelve that her parents decided the medication would only help her.
Around that same, Brianna was walking home from school when a dog escaped it's fence. She was a bit worried over it but stood her ground, hoping that it would leave her alone and just leave. It did the opposite. She still isn't sure what set the dog off, but it tried to jump on her and she ran, only making it a few feet before there was a pain in her leg that shot all the way through her leg. The dog owners were outside before her screams even reached out through the neighborhood. She was sent to the hospital and released after a couple weeks, but she still harbors a fear of dogs.
Brianna’s brother, Johnathon, was four years her elder, and when she was thirteen she began to pick up on the fact that there were certain pressures between her parents and her older brother. She was never sure what, exactly, was going on, but there was something and he left the house, moving into an apartment with a friend of his. Brianna went to visit her brother quite often, whenever she had the chance to really, and it just seemed like everything was going back to normal.
She was fifteen when she heard arguments from downstairs while she was working on her homework. Her only assumption was that her parents thought she was sleeping, and like the naughty little thing she was ( so naughty, right? ), she slipped down the stairs and listened. It took her a couple minutes to realize what they were talking about, but then finally they got to the point. “We can’t tell her she’s adopted!” Her mother’s voice ripped through the bottom floor in a flurry, light curses from her father following not so far behind, and Brianna didn’t bother listening to the rest of the argument.
They never did tell her and Brianna never told them that she knew, the only person that she ever told was her brother and he promised to keep her secret.
